Year 11 Easter Revision

Dear Year 11 Parent/Guardian

We advise that if students are going to achieve their target grade in this year’s exams, they need to revise for 6 hours per day.  This is the equivalent to a normal 5 hour school day plus an hour’s homework.  They should have one complete rest day per week.   If they adhere to this, they will complete 78 hours revision over the two week Easter holiday.   

Each day student’s should be doing one hour of Maths, one hour of English, one hour of Science plus their option subjects.

Students should also spend a minimum of 10 hours over the Easter holiday on French, Arabic or Spanish and this should be done on SAM Learning.  There will be a prize for all students who complete over 10 hours of SAM Learning in Languages over Easter.

We would ask that you accurately fill in the Easter Revision Monitoring Form (attached) for each day of the Easter holiday.

Please return the completed form to Broadway Academy to your Form Tutor on Tuesday 25th April.
