The safeguarding governor is Mr John Bryan. Mr Bryan can be contacted through the Clerk to the Governors.

The school believes that it is always unacceptable for a child to experience abuse of any kind. We recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children.
We will provide staff and volunteers with guidance to follow when they suspect a child may be experiencing abuse or at risk of harm. We will work co-operatively with other agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. We will ensure that our concerns about our students are discussed with parent/carers first – unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’ welfare
Broadway Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We will review our policy and procedures on an annual basis.

•Birmingham City Council is offering Sensory support by whatsapp, video or skype, or email for children at home with a sensory impairment. It is an assurance that the service remains open during the time children are at home. •It is available to children already receiving support and children who are new to the service. |
