More Able Students
Peer Tutoring
More Able students collaborate after school hours, tackling challenging questions across various subjects including science, maths, English, and French. These sessions foster deeper conversations whilst providing mutual support, enabling students to help each other progress academically.
The well-being of More Able students is integral to their success. They are encouraged to balance hard work with relaxation and recreation. An end-of-week badminton session is a favourite among students, providing a stress-relieving break, especially during exam season. They have also engaged in diamond cricket.
Brilliant Club
Participation in the Brilliant Club allows More Able students to experience university-level coursework, learning about specific topics taught by PhD students or graduates. This experience offers insights into the demands of higher education, including time management and balancing work within and outside school hours. Students benefit from learning about a subject from professionals at the forefront of their fields. Some of our MA students have achieved 1st Class in their university assessed assignments!
Radley College
More Able students visit Radley College on Saturdays, where they engage in lessons and participate in traditional sports like “five” and other activities. These visits also include listening to key speakers with extensive experience, ranging from owning and running multimillion-pound businesses to working in government positions as well as rehabilitating offenders.
