Broadway Academy’s very own Rock Band is where raw talent meets serious energy! Rehearsing both at lunchtime and after school, this dedicated group of student musicians fills the music block with the unmistakable sound of live guitars, pounding powerhouse drums.

Their setlist features plenty of Nirvana and Deep Purple — from the grungy grit of Smells Like Teen Spirit to the moody tones of Smoke on the Water — but they’re never afraid to mix it up. The band is always open to new ideas and song suggestions, whether that’s classic rock anthems, indie hits, or something completely unexpected.

Every rehearsal is a chance to experiment, improve, and perform together — and it shows in their sound. What started as a few students jamming for fun has become one of Broadway’s most exciting musical groups.

Broadway Choir

The Broadway Academy Choir brings together students who share a love of singing and a passion for harmony. Meeting regularly to rehearse during lunchtimes and after school, their voices fill the hall with uplifting sound and heartfelt emotion.

Broadway Performance Space

The Broadway Performance Space celebrates the incredible musical talent found across Broadway Academy — a stage where individual students and small groups shine. From soulful soloists to dynamic duos and energetic ensembles, this is where creativity, skill, and passion come together.

Students rehearse during lunchtimes and after school, perfecting their sound and pushing the boundaries of their talent. Their performances span a wide range of styles — from heartfelt ballads to electrifying rock, and everything in between. Adding to this vibrant culture, our mobile recording studio gives students the opportunity to record their own tracks, experiment with production, and gain hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in a professional music environment. Whether capturing a solo performance or producing a full band session, the studio helps transform creative ideas into polished recordings that students can proudly share.

Looking ahead, excitement is already building for next summer’s Broadway Performing Arts Prom — a celebration of music, dance, and drama showcasing the best of Broadway Academy’s performing talent. It’s a highlight of the year, bringing the whole community together to celebrate creativity, achievement, and the joy of live performance.
