Broadway Academy is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use.

We want everyone, including parents, carers, students, staff and members of our wider community, to be able to access information about the Academy and use our website without unnecessary barriers.

We aim to make our website easy to navigate, understand and use, and to follow recognised accessibility standards.

Compliance status

This website should meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard, where applicable under the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

  • The SEND information describes practical accessibility measures, including assistive technology, quiet spaces, adapted resources and reasonable adjustments.
  • The school publishes an Accessibility Plan and Equality Information and Objectives through its policies section.
  • Contact details are readily available, including a telephone number and general email address.

As a school, Broadway Academy benefits from a partial exemption under the accessibility regulations. However, we remain committed to making our website as accessible as reasonably possible and ensuring that important information and services are available to everyone.
