Dear Parent/Carer

Please be informed that year 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 will break up for the October half-term holiday on Friday 24th October 2025 at 1.45pm. Year 11 will remain in school until 3.10pm to meet with teachers to receive intervention folders to work on in the half term. I would like to wish you all a happy and safe half-term holiday.

Please note that Years 7 – 9 have their first test after half term, so it is important that they spend time revising the content given to them by their teachers.

Year 11 have their mock exams straight after the holiday. It’s essential that they use this time preparing for these exams, both at home and in school if they have an intervention lesson.  All Year 11s will be given a folder of resources to help with their preparation.

Year 12 and 13 will have work set by their teachers to support their own independent study. Please encourage them to use this time wisely to maximise their chances of success.
