Today, we were delighted to welcome over 30 businesses, the Pro Vice Chancellor of Aston University, 300 students and the Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street to a Job Fair at Broadway Academy. It was a great event, culminating in a Youth Conference. Broadway students and students from other schools discussed many of the issues close to their hearts including university fees, knife crime and job opportunities.

Andy Street complimented the Broadway staff and students for their outstanding work and for their exceptional commitment during the half term holiday.

Mr Skelton, Head teacher and CEO OF Broadway Academy Trust, said ‘For too long business and schools have been working in separate silos – it’s great to bring education and business together to serve young people’.
