7th June 2019
I hope you’ve had a good Eid.
As many of their exams have been completed, all Year 11 students will go on exam leave from Friday 7th June. This means they will not need to attend normal lessons. They will however still be expected to attend all remaining external exams and any pre-exam study sessions/weekend interventions where relevant.
Your son/daughter has already been given a copy of their exam timetable and pre-exam study sessions. A copy of the pre-exam study sessions is also available on the school website under “Exams”, or by Clicking Here.
All students are expected to wear school uniform for their exams and study sessions. Please ensure that your child is coming to school wearing the correct uniform. It reduces stress for the student if they are not involved in negative conversations about uniform with staff – conversations, which are completely avoidable if the students simply follow the rules.
In general, students should not be in school unless they are attending for an examination or a revision lesson; however, if students do need to be in school they must be in full uniform, sign in and log the purpose of their visit at the front reception.
We wish all candidates good luck for the rest of the exams and hope they will make the most of the preparation opportunities offered.
Mr G. Stewart
