Thank you to over 160 delegates and the speakers who took part in the Character Education Conference* on Tuesday. The conference was a blend of both theory and practice; demonstrating how Broadway students ‘live out their values’.
Eton College students, according to a recent article in The Times, are having lessons in gratitude. It would appear that they have a lot to be grateful for but don’t we all?
At a recent visit to Broadway by the Royal College of Defence, a Captain in the Kuwait Navy asked me with tears in his eyes ‘are Broadway students grateful for the education that they receive?’
Cicero called ‘Gratitude’ the mother of all virtues.
If we can all – the whole school community – be more grateful for everything we have, then this will further contribute to our Academy’s excellent ethos.
